Paper Ship Animation

This is a current personal project in progress. I enjoy model making and I wanted to use this to explore new animation techniques so I made this paper ship and articulated silhouettes to use in a stop motion animation and . I want to experiment with creating stop frame film so I can practice setting up shots, using new equipment and lighting techniques and adding to my experience of film editing software. The ship is a paper craft project with a few other elements to create the desired effect including an intricately hand knotted string rope detail. I will update as the project progresses.
